    The beginning of the 20th century

    In the beginning of the 20th century more authors appeared on the scence.
    Lord Dunsany did many things in his life but is mostly known as an author and playwriter. He wrote about 70 books in many different genres. His biggest contribution to fantasy is the books about the kingdom Pegana. "The Gods of Pegana" (1905) is about the Gods of the kingdom, from the creation to their depature. "Time and the Gods", 1906 which is the second novel in the series is about the humans reaction to the Gods.
    Pegana was very thourougly constructed and was among the first secondary worlds that was carefully planned. Many of Dunsany's early books was illustrated by S.H. Sime and the relation between them was sometimes opposite whats normal; Sime drawed his illustrations and Dunsany wrote stories about them.
